I stopped in at Desert Edge Brewery in Salt Lake City, Utah for a quick beer. The Utah Pale Ale was a very solid pale ale. I enjoyed it. The pub looked like a good place for normal pub fare as well.

Stoneyhead Brewing Company, Reno, NV
I stopped in at Stoneyhead Brewing Company in Reno, Nevada and enjoyed the honey pale ale. The honey adds just a bit of richness and sweetness to it which was very enjoyable. Great beer.
Sly Fox Brewery, Pottstown, PA
I stopped in at Sly Fox Brewery and Tastin’ Room for dinner and a tasting flight. My brother and I split the pork nachos which were outstanding – spicy and filling. I enjoyed all of the beers I tasted. I especially enjoyed the Chester County Brown Ale, smooth and full flavored. I also enjoyed the Phoenix Pal Ale which was an enjoyably hoppy pale ale. and, I really liked the 360 IPA. In fact, I liked it so much that I bought a four-pack to bring home. I’m looking forward to the next time we visit family in the area and stopping in again.
Red Yeti Brewing Company, Jeffersonville, IN
I stopped in at Red Yeti Brewing Company in Jeffersonville, Indiana and tried their pale ale. It’s a cool place.
Snake River Brewing, Jackson, WY
I stopped in at Snake River Brewing in Jackson, Wyoming for lunch. The chicken salad sandwich and side salad was delicious. The stout bread enhanced the sandwich even though the chicken salad was great on its own. Everything was so fresh. I enjoyed the Columbus Pale Ale which was hoppy enough for me to go with lunch.
Fossil Cove Brewing Company, Fayetteville, AR
I stopped in at Fossil Cove Brewing Company in Fayetteville, Arkansas and enjoyed the Blizzle Black IPA. I also tasted the Paleo Ale, La Brea Brown and IPA #3. These are all enjoyable beers. And, the brewery had a nice crowd of craft beer enthusiasts which made the atmosphere really cool. This is a great place to visit. This brewery was one of my stops on the Fayetteville Ale Trail which I highly recommend for those who love craft beer and are in the Fayetteville area.
Triple 7 Restaurant and Microbrewery, Las Vegas, NV
I stopped in at the Triple 7 Restaurant and Microbrewery in Las Vegas, Nevada and felt reassured that its possible for a casino to have an operating brewery. The Marker Pale Ale was refreshing and very enjoyable.
Boulder Dam Brewing Company, Boulder City, NV
I stopped in at the Boulder Dam Brewing Company in Boulder City, Nevada for a dam beer.
I tried the Higher Scale Pale which was a decent pale ale. I enjoyed this with the Hot Dam Burger which was very flavorful with the jalapeno peppers on it. In all a good dinner.
Oaken Barrel Brewing Company, Greenwood, IN
I stopped in at the Oaken Barrel Brewing Company in Greenwood, Indiana for lunch. I enjoyed the Three Amigo Taco Salad. Just enough shredded iceberg lettuce to make me feel like it was healthy and just enough tortilla chips to make me feel like I’m enjoying nachos. Yum. I tried a few beers with lunch. The Razz Wheat was light and refreshing and although it had a raspberry flavor it wasn’t too strong. I also tried the Gnaw Bone Pale Ale which was hoppy enough for my IPA tastebuds. I really enjoyed this beer. And I tried the Indiana Amber which must be the best amber ale I’ve tasted. This was delicious, full bodied and malty. Maybe its the Indiana grain. Very nice. I love their motto “We Brew It. We Drink It. We Sell What’s Left.”
Blue Star Brewing Company, San Antonio, TX
I stopped in at the Blue Star Brewing Company in San Antonio, Texas again. This time I had fish tacos for dinner – which were excellent! I also enjoyed the Cinco Peso Pale Ale which was crisp and hoppy but not quite an IPA. And I enjoyed the Flying Pig Extra Pale Ale which was very tasty. Flying Pig is very drinkable. This is one of those beers you could drink all evening – not that I did, mind you. In fact, I walked from downtown San Antonio along the Riverwalk to Blue Star Brewing Company and then back downtown, so I figure I walked off most of my dinner. Any way, back to the beers. I highly recommend the Flying Pig Extra Pale Ale. Stop in and try it. Try the Cinco Peso Pale Ale too!
I stopped at the Blue Star Brewing Company in San Antonio, Texas for lunch. I enjoyed the Chicken Avocado Salad. And, you guessed it, I sampled some beers. The Scottish Ale was a very smooth and easy to drink selection. The Texican Lager was flavorful. The Pale Ale was a solid go-to ale; smooth and not too hoppy. The King William Ale is a barley wine and not for the faint of heart. This is a strong beer. And I ended with the Spire Stout which was a good choice as this was rich, creamy and smooth.
