Ha!  You know you were expecting to read about my time in jail.  Well, sorry to disappoint you.  This section is important to me and is my attempt to explain how I feel about beer consumption and why.

For my life, I look to the Bible as my guide.  And there are two thoughts on beer that I want to share.

(Psalm 104:14-15 ESV) – http://www.esvbible.org/Psalm%20104%3A15/ 

[14] You cause the grass to grow for the livestock and plants for man to cultivate, that he may bring forth food from the earth [15] and wine to gladden the heart of man, oil to make his face shine and bread to strengthen man’s heart.

If God provides wine to gladden the hearts of man I’d like to think of beer in that same category.  I realize that some folks may disagree and I respect their position on this as well.

[15] Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, [16] making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. [17] Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. [18] And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,

Although I greatly enjoy drinking beer, I make every effort to do so in moderation.  And, I do not endorse indulging in beer or getting drunk.
