The bartender at PHX Beer Company in Phoenix, Arizona on Thursday, February 20 is a Beer Goddess. She recommended mixing Sonoran White Chocolate Ale (which I love) with Iron Horse Porter. WOW. Game Changer. Delicious. Chocolate and White Chocolate together. PERFECT!

Boomtown Brewery, Los Angeles, CA
I stopped in at Boomtown Brewery in Los Angeles, California. I never turn down a Scottish Ale and Magic Napper did not disappoint. This was the last beer before bed and a perfect end of the day beer to enjoy. Sweet. Smooth. Rich. Also really cool vibe at the brewery.
Highland Park Brewery, Los Angeles, CA
I stopped in at Highland Park Brewery in Los Angeles, California. For dinner I enjoyed beet salad and cauliflower tacos and paired with their Timbo Pils. Let’s talk about Timbo Pils. I love this beer. It’s a Pilsner so it’s a bit lighter than IPAs. It’s fresh. At the same time it has hop notes of West Coast IPAs. It’s simply toned down a bit. Plenty of flavor, just not in your face. So fine.
6th & La Brea Brewery, Los Angeles, CA
I stopped in at 6th & La Brea Brewery in Los Angeles, California. I enjoyed their Get Buzzed Golden Ale which is delicious with tremendous honey sweetness. I paired their Brussels Sprouts appetizer and Kale salad with the beer for an absolutely fabulous dinner.
Three Weavers Brewing Company, Los Angeles, CA
I stopped in at Three Weavers Brewing Company in Los Angeles, California after a long coast to coast flight and enjoyed their Expatriate West Coast IPA. After all, would you drink an East Coast IPA in Los Angeles, really? And, I really enjoyed the delicious hop profile.
