I stopped at Whip In, otherwise known as Kamala Brewing in Austin, Texas. What a place. They have numerous taps of remarkable craft beers from all over the country. They also brew their own beers. I tried the Bitterama ESB which I found to be a very smooth and drinkable beer. Malty and almost sweet. Very nice.

Jester King Brewery, Austin, TX
I stopped in at Jester King Brewery in Austin, Texas today. I’m really glad I made the trip. At the recommendation of the “ID checker” I tried the Ol’ Oi barrel aged sour brown ale. This is definitely a choice that is outside the typical beers I drink. It was excellent. Very light and refreshing with a sour twist to it. Definitely worth the trip!
Black Star Co-op Pub and Brewery, Austin, TX
I stopped in at the Black Star Co-op Pub and Brewery and tasted the Vulcan Rye IPA. This beer alone is worth the trip. Spicy and tasty.
North by Northwest Restaurant and Brewery, Austin, TX
I stopped in at North by Northwest Restaurant and Brewery in Austin Texas and enjoyed the Asian Salad with some of the Hey Joe Coffee Stout. Both were delicious. Great restaurant. Great brewery.
