I stopped in at Stoneyhead Brewing Company in Reno, Nevada and enjoyed the honey pale ale. The honey adds just a bit of richness and sweetness to it which was very enjoyable. Great beer.

I stopped in at The Brew Brothers in the El Dorado Casino in Reno Nevada for dinner and a beer. I enjoyed the spinach salad for dinner and I enjoyed the barrel aged Hopason which had nice hints of peach which perfectly ended the day.
I stopped in at Brasserie Saint James in Reno Nevada and found their saison and Belgian trippel to be very good beers. I would definitely recommend this place for a good beer.
I stopped in at Great Basin Brewing Company in Reno, Nevada on a Tuesday night and enjoyed a $2.50 draft of “ICKY” Ichthyosaur IPA. I found this to be a very drinkable IPA and enjoyed it thoroughly.
I stopped in at Banger Brewing in Las Vegas, Nevada for a quick beer. The Hop Bang Boom IPA was really good. This beer is rather hoppy. It’s a treat just to smell it. This beer alone was well worth the trip, however, there’s quite a long list of brews on tap. Certainly there’s something for every beer lover’s palate.
I stopped in at Big Dog’s Brewing Company Draft House in Las Vegas, Nevada for dinner and a beer. The bratwurst was great and the Dirty Dog IPA was really good. It’s a great spot to stop in for good bar food and good craft beer.
When in Sin City (Las Vegas) what do you do? Stop in at Sin City Brewing Company in Las Vegas, Nevada. I enjoyed the light beer. I figured I could use a little light in sin city. Actually the beer was refreshing. and I didn’t need to repent or repint – see below…

I did learn that Sin City Brewing Company brews its beer at the Gordon Biersch facility based on a long relationship between ownership. That’s cool. Gordon Biersch is solid.
I stopped in at the Tenaya Creek Brewery in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Ocilac Brown was smooth and malty. An enjoyable beer.
I stopped in at the Chicago Brewing Company in Las Vegas, Nevada. Yeah, that’s right. It’s a bit confusing. However, the Chi-town Turkey Wrap and the Hardway IPA were very good. In fact, I believe the beer here is the best I’ve had in Las Vegas.
I stopped in at the Triple 7 Restaurant and Microbrewery in Las Vegas, Nevada and felt reassured that its possible for a casino to have an operating brewery. The Marker Pale Ale was refreshing and very enjoyable.
