I stopped in at The Portsmouth Brewery in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. It was a late evening stop on a chilly night. I enjoyed a cup of delicious fish chowder and paired it with Nuts and Berries Brown Ale. The beer was smooth and malty and slightly fruity. Delicious. And it paired wonderfully with the soup. Both served to warm me up on a chilly night. This is a great stop in a lively area of downtown Portsmouth.
I stopped in at Earth Eagle Brewings in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. I was informed that they were known for their sours. Then, based on the bartender recommendation I tried the Indian Summer Gose. Delicious. It was late evening when I stopped in and I found this beer to be deliciously refreshing. It was light and sour and flavorful. The Citra Hops added to the flavor experience.
I stopped in at Beara Irish Brewing Company in Portsmouth, New Hampshire and very much enjoyed the O’Sullivan Stout. It was rich, creamy, smooth and flavorful. Hints of coffee and chocolate added to the enjoyment.
