I stopped in at Thomas Hooker Brewery Colt Taproom.  It was dinner time and they offer a nice menu with a few items.  The Trio of Tacos was delicious – even the roasted vegetable one!  The beers I tasted all went well with the tacos.  I especially liked the #nofilter IPA.  I’m getting more interested in hazy IPAs these days.  The Oktoberfest was smooth and malty with a hop bite.  Perfect for the season.  And the Milking the Clock milk stout was a tasty, sweet ending to the meal.  Great place to stop in. Glad I did.

Milwaukee Ale House, Milwaukee, WI

I stopped in at the Milwaukee Ale House in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for dinner and a beer.  I had the pretzels and Hawaiian pizza.  The pretzels and beer cheese were delicious.  They came out hot!  The Milwaukee Ale House take on Hawaiian pizza includes pepperoni and jalapeno peppers – a delicious twist from the norm.  I also enjoyed the Polish Moon milk stout.  Most folks probably wouldn’t have paired that but when I saw the label I had to try it and it was rich and delicious.
