I stopped in at Lamplighter Brewing Company in Cambridge, Massachusetts after a long day of training for a beer. I enjoyed Birds of a Feather New England IPA. A delicious hazy IPA in New England style. And I loved Coquito the Rum Barrel Aged Stout with Coconut on Nitro. Is that enough sensations? Stout – Coconut – Rum – Nitro. WOW!

BEERWORKS Brewing Company, Boston, MA
I stopped in at BEERWORKS Brewing Company in Boston, Massachusetts for dinner and a taste of beers. I enjoyed the Pear and Sprout Salad with Grilled Chicken and also enjoyed a flight of beers. Everything from Pilsner to Porter to Altbier to IPA were very good. The beer that, hands down, captured my attention was the Blue 92 Light American Ale with Maine blueberries. The bartender even tosses a few fresh blueberries in the bottom of the glass. There’s enough blueberry flavor to be significant but not too much to be overpowering. The beer is sweet but not too sweet. It is light and easy to drink. Absolutely delicious!
Aeronaut Brewing Company, Somerville, MA
I stopped in at Aeronaut Brewing Company in Somerville, Massachusetts. Their Summer in Cologne Kolsch is very easy to drink. If I had more time I would have enjoyed more of this hanging out at the brewery. Would also pair well with nearly any food. Based on the bartender’s I also tried 2 Years With Dr Nandu, their Imperial IPA, which was very tasty. Hoppy, bitter, full bodied and full flavored. I only had a taster of this because I had to drive to the airport. Wish I had longer to try more of their beers. Great place to stop!
