I stopped in at BEERWORKS Brewing Company in Boston, Massachusetts for dinner and a taste of beers. I enjoyed the Pear and Sprout Salad with Grilled Chicken and also enjoyed a flight of beers. Everything from Pilsner to Porter to Altbier to IPA were very good. The beer that, hands down, captured my attention was the Blue 92 Light American Ale with Maine blueberries. The bartender even tosses a few fresh blueberries in the bottom of the glass. There’s enough blueberry flavor to be significant but not too much to be overpowering. The beer is sweet but not too sweet. It is light and easy to drink. Absolutely delicious!

Vinyl Brewing Company, Hammonton, NJ
I stopped in at Vinyl Brewing Company in Hammonton, NJ with industry colleagues. We each enjoyed a flight and some tasters. Everything I tasted I enjoyed. Disrupt the Paradigm Vanilla Porter is delicious (I love vanilla flavor). We all enjoyed each of the beers we tried.
Tun Tavern, Atlantic City, NJ

I stopped in at Tun Tavern in Atlantic City for a late snack and beer. Their fried Brussels spouts were tasty and this flight went well with them. The Citra Crush and South Pacific Hop IPA were both nice IPAs. Not too hoppy and very easy to drink. And, both very pairable with a meal.
Garden State Beer Company, Galloway, NJ
I stopped in at Garden State Beer Company in Galloway, NJ to try their beers. The fruit inspired options seemed to be calling to me. The Cranberry Ale and the Blue Jersey American Wheat both had just the right amount of fruit flavor without being overpowering. Tasty beers.
Saints Row Brewing Company, Rockville, MD
I stopped in at Saints Row Brewing Company in Rockville, Maryland to taste their beers and pick up a growler or two for Thanksgiving. Neon Suede New England IPA was just perfect to serve with dinner. A nice, hazy IPA; a little fruity, a bit hoppy, easy to drink. And, the coffee milk stout was perfect to serve with dessert. Both made for a memorable Thanksgiving.
Cowtown Brewing Company, Fort Worth, TX
I stopped in at Cowtown Brewing Company in Fort Worth, Texas. I enjoyed their barbecue very much and it paired nicely with both of the beers I tried. Their Rhinestone Cowboy Kolsch was delicious, very drinkable and fresh! Their The Last Kaiser Imperial Marzen Oktoberfest was rich and delicious, malty and hoppy. I recommend a stop in here if you’re in the Fort Worth area. Grab a beer and a bite. Yee Haw!
City Steam Brewery, Hartford, CT
I stopped in at City Steam Brewery in Hartford, Connecticut for dinner and a beer. It was pretty obvious that I needed to try the Naughty Nurse Amber Ale, their flagship. And this beer did not disappoint. A great blend of amber maltiness plus enough hop bite to make it interesting. And it was delicious paired with their fish tacos. I also tasted Jungle Crush IPA and Oktoberfest and enjoyed both beers. I also love the vibe of this historic, restored location in downtown Hartford. Very walkable from nearly any location downtown. I welcome the opportunity to return to Hartford and stop in again.
Waller Street Brewing, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
I stopped in at Waller Street Brewing after a 4 mile run along the river in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I felt justified in trying two beers having just run. Clearly I tried the Blindside ESB and loved it. I also tried the Scotch River Sour and enjoyed that as well. I loved the basement location. The kind of place I’d enjoy hanging out if at home. Hope to be back soon.
Beyond the Pale Brewing, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
I stopped in at Beyond the Pale Brewing in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Not only did I try a couple of beers, I also enjoyed the Jerk Chicken Taco which was delicious. The Pink Fuzz Grapefruit Zest Wheat is a delicious beer. I love grapefruit and this did not disappoint without being too grapefruity. I also enjoyed The Rye Guy Rye IPA which was a nice pairing with the taco. I ended with The Darkness Oatmeal Stout. All great beers.
