While on vacation in the Outer Banks I had the opportunity to stop in at Swells’a Brewing with my family. It had been fifteen years since I had been to the Outer Banks and I really loved this “newer” (at least to me) brewery. I greatly enjoyed a glass of Burkhart Brown Ale, a deliciously crisp and malty beer. My son enjoyed Jimmy Buffett Ruined My Life Imperial IPA which other family members enjoyed at a restaurant earlier in the week. So, we brought a crowler back to the vacation house with us and enjoyed it with dinner. The brewery vibe was fresh and clean. The merch looked good also. I hope travels bring me back for future beers and good times.
