I stopped in at Falls City Beer in Louisville, Kentucky and enjoyed tastes of their beers on tap. I especially liked the IPA. I also enjoyed the brown ale which I ordered with a meal at a local restaurant earlier in the week. I recommend stopping in at Falls City Beer. It’s a great spot in downtown Louisville and well worth the stop.

New Albanian Brewing Company, New Albany, IN
I stopped in at New Albanian Brewing Company in New Albany, Indiana and enjoyed a 6″ personal pizza for dinner with the Elector Imperial Red Ale. WOW! The pizza was great and the personal size serving was perfect. The beer was wonderful and went well with the pizza. It is a solid mix of malt and hops with both a sweetness and a bitterness. I can’t wait to stop back again.

Snake River Brewing, Jackson, WY
I stopped in at Snake River Brewing in Jackson, Wyoming for lunch. The chicken salad sandwich and side salad was delicious. The stout bread enhanced the sandwich even though the chicken salad was great on its own. Everything was so fresh. I enjoyed the Columbus Pale Ale which was hoppy enough for me to go with lunch.
Grand Teton Brewing, Victor, ID
I stopped in at Grand Teton Brewing and enjoyed a few tastes. The seasonal specialty this time of year is Pursuit of Hoppiness which is an imperial red ale. I really enjoyed this beer. Both hoppy and malty. Perfect for the fall season.
Idaho Brewing Company, Idaho Falls, ID
I stopped in at the Idaho Brewing Company in Idaho Falls, Idaho and had a taste of the What a Pear fruit lager just because it sounded so unique. It tasted almost like champagne with its effervescence and fruitiness. I enjoyed a glass of the Bad Badger ESB. This would not typically be my go to style but it was on sale at $3.00 pint on Tuesday night and I couldn’t resist. It was a very tasty beer with balanced malt and hops.
