I stopped in at Salty Nut Brewery in Huntsville, Alabama. Clearly the busted nut brown ale was the one I tried. Pretty tasty. Light and easy to drink. Another bad picture.
Alabama
Innerspace Brewing Company, Huntsville, AL
Of the beers I tried at Innerspace Brewing Company in Huntsville, Alabama I enjoyed the Blueberry Milkshake the most. The beer is flavorful and fruity. Rich and delicious.
Green Bus Brewing, Huntsville, AL
I stopped in at Green Bus Brewing in Huntsville, Alabama. The Hazel Bus Brown seemed like the perfect beer to try. Very nice beer. Light. Easy to drink. Good flavor.
Below the Radar Brewing, Huntsville, AL
I stopped in at Below the Radar Brewing for dinner and a beer. Their fish and chips were delicious. I substituted onion rings for chips. The coating was crispy and thick and heavy. The three dipping sauces flavorful. The Raspberry Lemonade Sour was a good accompaniment.
Mad Malts Brewing, Huntsville, AL
I stopped in at Mad Malts Brewing in Huntsville, Alabama. The Espresso Porter and Vanilla Porter are absolutely delicious. I’d come back for these. Mad Malts is a simple, unassuming place, but these beers are amazing. Glad I stopped in!
Yellowhammer Brewing, Huntsville, AL
I stopped in at Yellowhammer Brewing in Huntsville, Alabama. The bartender suggested T-Minus Tangerine Kolsch. I have to admit I rarely see “flavored” Kolsch styles so I gave it a try. Not disappointed at all! Delicious beer. Smooth. Great beer taste from the Kolsch style. Enough tangerine flavor to taste it but not overpower it. Wonderful!
Straight To Ale, Huntsville, AL
I stopped in at Straight To Ale in Huntsville, Alabama for lunch and tried their beers as well. Their chicken Caesar salad was delicious. Of their beers, the one that I enjoyed the most and was most unique to me was Plum Diggity which is a Belgian with plum flavor. The bartender recommended it and she was right!
Big Beach Brewing Company, Gulf Shores, AL
I stopped in at Big Beach Brewing Company in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Nice beers. If I had to pick which one I liked best it would be Rod’s Reel Cream Ale. Smooth. Easy to drink. Flavorful. The brewery/brewpub is a great location. Great spot to meet with friends. Fun if you’re nearby worth stopping by.
Trim Tab Brewing, Birmingham, AL
I stopped in late one evening just before closing and enjoyed an IPA at Trim Tab Brewing in Birmingham, Alabama. The beer was good. The tap room was really cool with an industrial feel and modern art. Would be a nice spot to hang out.
Railyard Brewing Company, Montgomery, AL
I stopped in at the Railyard Brewing Company in Montgomery, Alabama for dinner and, of course, a beer. I had shrimp and grits for dinner. What else would you eat when in the south? I tried the Red Clay Irish Ale which was malty and sweet and did not disappoint.
