I only had time for one taste at Pacific Coast Brewing Company in Oakland, California. The Mermaid’s Revenge, a Belgian triple, was a strong, sweet and spicy beer.

Looks like you made the most of your trip Jim. If you were to re-hit one or two, based both on the beer and the setting, which one(s)??
That’s a tough call. Plus, knowing the many available craft breweries I’ve not yet visited, I’d tend to go to those rather than re-visit ones I’ve already enjoyed. That said; the coastal views at Half Moon Bay are unsurpassed; the tour at Anchor is fun, informative and ends with plenty of samples; the folks at Drake’s were a joy to work with in participating in our event; Mill Valley is such a neat town tucked in the northern California mountains and the Beerworks mirrors that; Elevation 66 had such a cool neighborhood vibe; the food at Tied House was tasty; heck I’d go back to them all if I could!
